BPA: It is a chemical substance, and its Chinese name is bisphenol A. BPA FREE means no BPA.

Chemical toxicity

Studies have shown that BPA is harmful and may cause cancer and other dysfunction.

National regulation

BPA is one of the most thoroughly tested chemicals in the world today. The consensus among government agencies around the world is that BPA is used in safe food contact materials, including for infants and young children.

National legislation and regulation across the country have contributed to the confusion in the sale of baby bottles and sippy cups in the United States containing bisphenol A. In fact, manufacturers of baby bottles and duckbill cups announced a few years ago that they have stopped using BPA in these products because of consumer preferences. BPA stands for, since the 1960s, has been used to make certain plastics and resins bisphenol A bisphenol A is an industrial chemical. In particular, bisphenol A is found in polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins. Polycarbonate plastic containers are often used to store food and beverages, such as mineral water bottles, and baby bottles and cups. They can also be used in toys and other consumer goods. Epoxy resins can be used to coat metal products such as canned food, infant formula cans, caps and the inside of water lines. Some dental sealants and composites may also contain bisphenol A. Some thermal paper products, such as cash register receipts, may contain bisphenol A.

Some studies have shown that bisphenol A penetrates into food or beverage containers, and when you are dealing with products made with bisphenol A, BPA may enter your body. But BPA is still controversial and continues to study. The American Chemistry Council, the association, on behalf of plastics manufacturers, argues that BPA poses no danger to human health. However, the National Toxicology Program in the Department of Health and Human Services stated that it has "somewhat worried" about the possible effects of BPA on the brain, behavior and prostate health of the fetus, infants and children. What deserves attention is the scale of the 5th level in the middle, ranging from serious to negligible. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) now agrees with this level of concern and is taking steps to reduce human exposure to BPA in the food supply by looking for alternatives to bisphenol A in food containers. In the meantime, if you are worried about BPA, you can take steps to minimize exposure: looking for products that do not contain bisphenol A, this may not always be easy to do, of course. Some manufacturers indicate that their products do not contain bisphenol A. If a product has no label, remember that most aluminum cans or bottles are lined, while steel bottles or cans do not contain BPA. Polycarbonate plastics are generally hard, clear, lightweight plastics. It usually has the bottom of the 7th recycling sign.

Now, GreenPak vacuum bags and films has passed the BPA free test.  Our products is very green and environmental protection.
