Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) Carrier Film is a type of plastic film used in the production of composite materials. It is typically made of polyester, polypropylene or other similar polymer materials. The SMC Carrier Film is used as a carrier or carrier layer in the production of SMC parts, which are composite materials made by impregnating fiber reinforcement with a polymer resin. The film helps in handling the wet resin during the molding process and provides a smooth surface finish to the final product.
