What are the advantages of high barrier film packaging?
One is the oxygen barrier property. During the processing, the heme becomes methemoglobin due to the action of oxygen, which causes the product to fade, promotes the oxidation of fat and the proliferation of aerobic microorganisms, so it prevents the product from contacting oxygen. Quality and its preservation are extremely important.
The second is moisture resistance. If product moisture penetrates from the inside of the packaging film, it will affect the flavor and quality of the product.
The third is impact resistance (puncture resistance). The packaging materials must ensure that the meat products are impact resistant and not easily damaged during the logistics process.
The fourth is cold resistance. Frozen meat products can still maintain their strength and impact resistance when packaged at a low temperature of -45°C. The fifth is heat resistance, that is, meat products that have a high softening point and require high-temperature cooking and repeated sterilization. The packaging materials are required to not deform or expand. The sixth is oil resistance, which prevents the free fat from meat products from penetrating to the outside of the film to ensure product quality.
